Kason says:

Kason had his 18 month check-up yesterday.  His doctor asked how many words he was saying.  I stopped to think about it, and she asked if I thought it was more or less than eight.  Which made me laugh.  Here's a sampling of the words he said today:

jump bed jump bed jump bed (as he was jumping on his bed)
night night
basketball
ready
mommy
yucky
meow
woof woof
please
nana (banana)
bagel
cracker
water
no
bye bye
hug
down
light
here you go now
Buzz (as in Lightyear)
bag
nummy (uses instead of yummy)
yes
up
book
nap
chicken (I'm not convinced he knows what this one means, though.)
tickle tickle
eyes
nose
you're welcome
peek-a-boo
boot
help

He also hummed the Spiderman and Star Wars theme songs.

While at the appointment yesterday Kason pointed out a book, which surprised his doctor.  Then she told Kason she was going to check his eyes.  "Eyes," he repeated, and pointed at his eyes.  To which his doctor said that this was the most impressive 18-month check-up she's ever had. (!)
