Christmas Morning, 2011

Hinton missed a present last night.  It's Piggie & Gerald!

And Santa brought him something too . . .

A Handy Manny toolbelt!

Kason got some goodies in his stocking.

And Hinton had a huge haul in his!

My parents and Grandma were able to come up today.
Hinton convinced them to play the new games he got for Christmas.

Ants in Pants

Toy Story Alien "Fishing"

 Dinosaur Matching Game

Meanwhile, Kason had fun playing with his new hat that he got from Grandma Barb.

Christmas Eve, 2011

Sneaking a peek at the presents.

Not quite crawling.

Time to open presents!

Hinton picked out a present for Daddy all by himself . . .

I took him to the Dollar Store so that he could pick out anything he wanted.
He picked out two flashlights and a bag of erasers.

Hinton also helped me pick out this helmet.

 Hinton's turn!

Some of Kason's goodies . . .

Even George the Monkey got a present -
a new outfit!

New PJs, George, and some new books - ready for bed!

After we put out cookies and milk for Santa, of course.

Newton Lights, 2011

We drove out to the Newton Lights again this year.
(The house that has its light set in time with music.)

Brandon and Hinton stood outside to enjoy the lights while
Kason and I stayed inside the Jeep where it was a little warmer.

"Unwrapped" Gift

Me: Hinton! Did you unwrap that present?

Hinton: No. I just broke it [the wrapping paper] a little bit. With my fingers.

MC Christmas Party

We went to a MOMS Club Christmas Party this morning.

Hinton played "Santa Says".

Santa says make a silly face.  ~~~~ Santa says tickle the person next to you.

Still sooo close to crawling.

And showing off all his teeth.

Playing Musical Chairs.

All of the mamas brought several used books to the Christmas party.  Then, everyone picked out one book for each of their kiddos and wrapped it up.  All of the extra books were donated to a book drive that is going on in Salem right now.  I thought this was a great idea!

What did his mama pick out for him?

A Toy Story book, of course!

Kason liked his book too.

I thought these mini-cupcakes were just too cute.
One of the other mamas made them.

Group pic with most of the other kids that were there.

Festival of Lights, 2011

Tonight we went to the Festival of Lights in Keizer.  It is a neighborhood with a mapped-out path to follow to look at Christmas lights.

The boys enjoying the lights (and Hinton was also enjoying a candy cane).
