Portland Children's Museum

This morning we met some friends up at the Portland Children's Museum.  

There was lots of fun stuff to do!

Like brush an alligator's teeth!

Playing the drums on stage.

A huge Lite Brite.

Playing with clay (with Katelyn & Sarah).

Driving a bus.

Driving an ambulance.

Going camping.

YMCA Swimming Lesson

Hinton has been enjoying 

being back in swimming lessons this summer.

We met one of Hinton's friends at a nearby park this afternoon.

The boys worked hard "building a dam" in the creek.

Kason had some water fun too.

A.C. Gilbert visit

Hinton is starting science camp at A.C. Gilbert tomorrow, 

so we went and visited his new classroom today.

And of course we took some time to play too.

The boys had fun visiting the "pet vet".

Kason especially liked the doggy table.

The boys had fun watching their images

on the screen in this room.

They were playing with hula hoops.

They also played on the dinosaur slide.

 And in the train room.

4th of July Parade

Asleep before the fun has even started!

And then up and at 'em again.  Time to explore!

 Hinton, of course, loved gathering the candy.

Even Kason got in on the action once or twice.

Shoes!

At almost 15 months old,
it's past time for us to get some shoes on this kid.

Because Hinton had such a memorable reaction to wearing shoes the first time, part of the reason we put off Kason's first shoe-wearing-experience was that Brandon and I both wanted to be home, camera-ready.

His reaction?

He didn't really have one.  He just kind of wandered away.
