To me it makes him look so much older.

Octagon
Hinton announced this evening at dinner that he was making an octagon out of his green beans. It doesn't look like an octagon exactly, but it does have eight sides. We've never talked about octagons before . . . did he learn this in preschool? Regardless, I was pretty impressed!

This afternoon we went on a steam engine ride
on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad.
on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad.
Kason's checking things out.
So is Hinton.
And . . . he's out.
Mostly.

Roll Over, Roll Over!
Kason finally rolled over (belly to back) for the first time today! He's been on the verge of doing it for awhile now. Also - his first tooth broke through last night!

Back to Soccer
Hinton hasn't been to soccer class since before Kason was born,
but they had a free session this afternoon. Couldn't pass that up!
Playing "Farmer & Foxes".
Farmer & Foxes video (with a whoopsie!)
Hinton catching a fox!
(Once you've been caught you become a farmer.)

Facebook Photo
Okay, so I didn't take this photo thinking it would be
for my Facebook profile . . . but that's what it ended up being.

And the other pics
Hinton riding the tiger? He thought this was pretty darn funny.
Tummy time is getting better. For longer and longer periods it is more like this:

First Day of Preschool
Ready to go!
Some of his friends from Creative Discoveries will be in his new class too.
Ryan - Jake - Hinton
Hanging up his backpack at his cubby . . .
Finding his picture to turn around so that it will show his name.
(Their way of "checking in" when the kids enter the classroom.)
Finding a seat for circle time. This was just before he, and most of the other kids, started crying. (The admin staff said it was short-lived. Hinton was doing great when I can back to pick him up, and seemed to have enjoyed himself.)
Spying on Hinton when I came back to pick him up.
He looks like he's having fun!

Cranberry Festival Parade, 2011
Ready for the parade to begin!
Waving to Smokey the Bear.
Lots to look at.
Candy, candy, candy!
And, not very much competition near us.
Elvis was the last to come by.
We came across a dunk tank. Hinton thought this was HILARIOUS!
They had a nice kids' section set up.
It included a petting zoo.
A "corn box".
Making music.
"Milking" the cow.
Riding a tractor.
Resting with Grandma and Grandpa.
Kason was there too. He was just strapped into the front pack the entire time.
